Will the Academy help my smallholder group get RSPO certified?

The primary focus of the Academy is to build the capacity of trainers to more effectively train smallholders and group organisers/managers for smallholders' more sustainable livelihoods. As such, the Academy is focused directly on assisting organisations to help smallholder groups get RSPO certified.

However, Academy Master Training and the use of the Academy Training Materials may be of significant value for Partners in developing their training capacity, which may help towards RSPO Certification. Many of the topics and themes of the Master Training, Smallholder Group Guide, and the Group Training Guide are directly or indirectly relevant for RSPO certification, and both Group Guides offer guidance on certification-related requirements.

RSPO aims to develop specific guidance documents and training in relation to the Independent Smallholder Standard.
