Training was carried out at Odiguetue  with Odiguetue Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative members at about 11am in collaboration with Okomu Oil Palm Company.

The purpose of the training was to help SHFs in the Odiguetue Multipurpose Cooperative Society.

The trainer explained the kind of leadership that will help the cooperative grow, by allowing members to make decisions jointly and work together to achieve their goal.

The importance of effective communication among cooperative members was explained and SHFs carried out an activity to show the benefit and importance of effective communication.

The concept of leadership was also described. SHFs recounted their experiences of how leadership has helped solve conflicts within the community and between SHFs in the past.

An activity was carried out by SHFs to show the importance of leadership and how it helps to resolve conflicts in the group.  

At the end of the training, SHFs appreciate the training and knowledge they have and also promise to organize their cooperative, work together and help each other resolve conflicts to help the group and the community grow.
